IT Infrastructure Management: · Develop and implement strategies for the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and data centers. · Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. · Manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet organizational requirements. · Optimize IT infrastructure performance, scalability, and availability. · Properly planning and execution on IT infrastructure maintenance to provide reliable IT foundation environment
2. Cybersecurity Leadership: · Design and implement robust cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization’s information assets. · Conduct regular security assessments, including vulnerability scans and penetration tests, to identify and address potential threats. · Respond to and manage security incidents, including investigating breaches and mitigating risks. · Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and best practices, and integrate this knowledge into the organization’s security strategy.
3. Team Management: · Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT infrastructure and cybersecurity professionals. · Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, setting clear goals and performance expectations. · Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
4. Budget and Resource Management: · Develop and manage the IT infrastructure and cybersecurity budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. · Evaluate and recommend technology investments and upgrades to meet organizational needs. · Negotiate with vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services.
5. Compliance and Risk Management: · Ensure that IT infrastructure and cybersecurity practices comply with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001). · Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities and threats. · Prepare and present reports on IT infrastructure and cybersecurity status to senior management and stakeholders.
6. Strategic Planning: · Contribute to the development of the organization’s IT strategy and roadmap. · Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity practices. · Collaborate with other departments and business units to align IT infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives with organizational goals.
Qualifications: Education: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. · A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
Experience: · At least 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role. · At least 3-5 years of experience in managing VMware environments, including hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
Skills: · Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services. · Expertise in cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. · Experience with risk management, incident response, and security compliance. · Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively. · Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. · Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
