In this role you’ll make an impact by: 61 Responsible for marketing, promotional activities and marketing strategy for ELN/HMO in China 61 As Marketing Manager you will have the opportunity to build the marketing path for our HMO business unit and the wider ELN category in China. 61 You will be reporting to the Head of Commercial Development and Marketing and be part of the commercial team. 61 Not only do you bring marketing experience and have worked with agencies, you also have great English communication skills as you will be interacting with people at all levels of the organization and colleagues around the world. 61 We have a “hands-on” mentality and are looking for people who are self-starters and like to bring in their own ideas. 61 In your role, you will be responsible for all branding activities across the HMO and ELN (Early Life Nutrition) category in China, starting from ensuring our communication is on brand, to gaining market understanding and execution of marketing material development and production. This includes our materials for sales as well as managing our website and running our webinars. For this, you will bring experience in working with agencies on marketing material and creating online content. 61 You will further be working in close contact with corporate communications, sales and scientific affairs and be the lead for managing our tradeshows end to end, i.e. from project management to content design up to on-site lead. 61 The Novonesis office in Shanghai will be your main workplace, with the option of working from home. As part of the team is based in Rheinbreitbach / Germany and Hoersholm / Denmark, occasional travel to Germany is needed, as also international travel for tradeshows. Branding / Marketing / Communication 61 Create innovative marketing materials and sales tools, fitting the Chinese local market. 61 Lead local communication agency pitch, selection and material execution. 61 Manage production of marketing material, on-/offline (including update of website and social media platforms such as WeChat) 61 Develop product branding, logos and trademarks. 61 Manage marketing spend for HMO activation in China. 61 Manage trade media and sponsorships from ideation to execution. 61 Work with translation agencies (English/Chinese) and review their output. 61 Responsible for external PR campaigns and PR agency relationships 61 Develop effective communication programs and successfully bring new concepts to market. 61 Lead creation of activation plans for awareness and education campaigns around HMOs/ELN up to new launches and drive execution. 61 Building up WeChat communication plan 61 Ensure that USP objectives are understood, communicated and sustained. Campaigns and Events 61 Build the Chinese event calendar, identify key tradeshows and symposiums where we should be present and possibly hold a speech in close cooperation with Scientific Affairs 61 be the lead for managing our tradeshows end to end for ELN, i.e. from project management to content design up to on-site lead. 61 Plan and execute marketing campaigns and marketing activities in close alignment with sales. 61 Once the main KOLs in the HMO space are defined by Scientific Affairs, develop plan how to best interact in close cooperation with Scientific Affairs 61 Be part of the HMO Commercial team and support marketing activities around the globe Market insights 61 Collect, analyse, provide consumer insights to internal stakeholders. 61 Be an active and constructive collaboration partner to the China sales team. 61 Participate in the portfolio and customer mapping. 61 Keep a wide network in the industry and related associations. 61 Other tasks assigned by Head of Commercial Development and Marketing To succeed you must hold: 61 You have a bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Marketing and/or Marketing communication) 61 5-8 years professional experience in Marketing, Brand Management or Communication within dietary supplements or food industry, including marketing planning, consumer insights generation, launch planning and customer experience. 61 Preferably in biotechnology, OTC or pharma - driving the entire marketing communication from market insights generation and branding work to marketing material production. 61 You can show a track-record in creating compelling B2B communication both online and offline – B2C experience in a related industry is a plus. 61 Interest in and basic understanding of scientific processes (clinical trials and documentation, ingredient sales), supports you in your daily work. 61 Experience with social media campaigns. 61 Experience with agency work and creation of communication materials. 61 Experience with regulated industries preferred. 61 Proactive, Self-motivated and driven 61 Awareness/ experience in food / health industry 61 Good marketing sense about new trends 61 Fluent spoken and written in English. 61 Excellent project management skills 61 Excellent presentation and communication skills 61 Strong ability for innovative thinking and creative execution 61 Energetic, pragmatic, business driven team player, affinity for working in high-paced, dynamic environment. 61 Willingness to travel to fairs or events, or to the German HMO office.
