Responsibilities: - Develop and execute strong category strategies aligned with the company's objectives. - Identify strategic suppliers that offer quality and competitive costs, promoting long-term relationships. - Lead supplier selection processes, ensuring compliance with quality, cost and delivery standards. - Managing end-to-end supplier relationships, monitoring supplier performance throughout the project lifecycle, from the development phase to serial production, ensuring quality, cost and delivery standards. - Identify supplier related risks and implement effective mitigation strategies. - Conduct market analysis to identify savings opportunities and competitive alternatives for suppliers. - Work with engineering, quality, production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. - Ensure compliance with annual savings goals (kpi), exceeding expectations in key metrics. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in quality, cost and delivery metrics. - Ensure compliance with environmental and sustainability standards, integrating them into purchasing processes.
Requirements: - bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, economics, business administration, supply chain or related fields. - non-regulated/complementary training: in-depth knowledge of the trends and needs of the electric mobility sector. Native level of Chinese, English (c1), knowledge of Spanish will be highly valued. - minimum 8 years of purchasing experience, with a strong focus on the automotive sector, preferably in projects related to electric vehicles or sustainable mobility. Extensive experience in negotiation and management of complex projects within the industrial and technological field. - Result orientation and proactivity in dynamic environments. - Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills. - Availability to travel frequently.
