Mission Your mission is to be part of CPD Shanghai Hub team as a Sourcing Leader to implement a sustainable, efficient and agile supply chain. In line with CPD strategy, by collaborating with internal teams, you are required to maintain at good level of communication with external suppliers, to create competitive advantages in our supply chain, to serve our China for China initiatives. In parallel, you are required to ensure compliance to group's business code of practice for all suppliers.

Major Responsibilities Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: You will be responsible to manage the purchasing activities within the assigned supplier portfolio in the new product development phase and as well as during the product serial life.
· Perform advance sourcing activities on both finished product and component level (mainly mechanical/mechatronic parts) · Define and negotiate purchasing conditions including price, lead time, transport, payment terms, quality, etc.) in accordance with company guidelines · Establish and improve the supplier development, maintenance, tracking and evaluation system, reasonable cost control · Implementation and regular follow up of KPI management objectives · Lead initiatives to drive best total cost of supply chain · Set up and improve processes to gain in efficiency · Drive continual improvement of products through process development resulting in: OTD improvement, inventory reduction, material cost reduction · Cross-functional communication and collaboration with R&D, Project Management, Production and divisional Sourcing · In collaboration with Quality team, coordinate and follow up corrective actions with supplier during warranty and quality complaints · To build partnership with core vendors in order to maintain purchasing power against competitors · Develop the standardization work and cultivate talent by training and develop team members
Education & Experience · Bachelor’s degree with major in Engineering · At least 5 years of sourcing/purchasing experience related to technical/manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team. Experience in low volume/high variant manufacturing is preferred · Experience in mechanical part and good knowledge of supplier base is needed · Project Purchasing / Category management experience
Knowledge & Skills · Proven ability to analyze and compare material cost from wide range of sources, including data mining within an integrated business system · Well understanding of mechanical component manufacturing process · Previous experience in SAP or ERP is preferred. · Microsoft Excel data inquiry and analysis understanding · Fluent spoken and written English
