Responsibilities: 1) Team Management - Support Head of SCM on daily operation of respective sub-group. - Lead the group meeting to monitor the performance and support teammate to solve the urgent and trouble case. - Monitor the team member to comply with the company working process, provide the suggestions on process optimization. - Review and manage the accuracy of data input and delay reason classification by team members, coach and guide teammate to have the understanding on the requirement aligned and the working process standardized - Guide group members on problem solving and risk management; improve the work efficiency and team competency via experience sharing.
2) Order Operation Management - Responsible for order follow up from order issued to document dispatch after shipping for responsible range. - Review project/order tracking status of responsible sub-group, ensure status well controlled, ensure the data and delay reason accurately recorded. And timely escalate to the supervisor on the critical issues.
3) Supplier and Logistics Service Provider Management - Monitor suppliers’ performance regularly and dig out the delay root cause for improvement; lead the teammate to provide the education and training to the supplier and ensure the proper follow up by supplier. - Plan and support teammate on key/critical supplier selection, trip preparation and execution. - Guide the sub-group in logistics service provider management to solve shipment related issues in a timely manner, e.g. container rolling issue, extra cost, supplier complain etc. - Communicate with Germany colleagues to solve problems on order placement as well as service improvement of -logistics service provider.
4) Data Analysis - Manage sub-group on time monthly closing, and support manager to prepare report as required and provide data analysis to proactively identify optimization potential. - Coach the team members on the data analysis as well as have a better use of the data on hand.
5) Other tasks assigned by Supervisor.
Requirement: - College degree or above. - Over 8 years' relevant working experience in order management, preferably in foreign sourcing office. - Good sense of order follow up and order management. - Good people management skill. - Strong in problem solving, detail-orientated, proactive working attitude. - Good time management. - Good data analysis skills.
