-Evaluate corporate Environmental Health and Safety strategy and interpret strategy to develop annual site plan and objectives - Implement and drive sustainability of systems, programs, and processes to support compliance and management systems - Drive improvement of stop work recognition with deviation/drift correction and behavior & management based on safety system culture by doing activities on site such as Find & Fix, job observation, high risk task management, JSA (job safety analysis) etc. - Monitor progress against EHS objectives and communications to site manager and employee population and develops and leads plan for continual improvement that will be reported, recorded and tracked by global QEHS system GENSUITE. - Support site to resolve EHS challenges and create foundations for sustainable systems instead of management of EHS incidents ONLY. - Apply a combination of logic, analysis, and experience to make sound, timely decisions and to solve problems - Maintain expert knowledge of all regulatory compliance obligations and corporate requirements and ensures they are adequately addressed in site plan and therefore their being satisfactorily met and managed - Year over year continuous improvement of EHS performance for fatal serious injury prevention and mitigation even elimination of injury by strengthening and deepening EHS culture at site besides 100% EHS compliance is ensured. - Support improvement of EHS awareness, knowledge and competency among all levels of employees - Integration of EHS function with quality and lean manufacturing business partners etc. by collaborations. - Help site with continuous reduction of overall EHS risk
