Brief The Senior AI Software Engineer will be a key member of the AI Center of Excellence (COE) team, playing a crucial role in the execution of Garrett AI initiatives. This position involves architecting, developing, and deploying sophisticated AI-enabled solutions, leveraging advanced software development skills and a deep understanding of artificial intelligence. The Senior Software Engineer will mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and ensuring best practices are followed. They will drive the integration of cutting-edge AI technologies into complex solutions, addressing strategic business challenges. Responsibility 61 Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React. 61 Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure seamless and visually appealing user experiences. 61 Integrate frontend components with backend services and APIs. 61 Enhance our LLM engine module using either Python or .NET Core. 61 Leverage Azure OpenAI services to enable advanced AI-driven functionalities. 61 Build and maintain pipelines to synchronize data with Azure AI Search. 61 Implement secure and efficient data handling practices. 61 Utilize Kafka as a message queue for processing events and ensuring system scalability. 61 Optimize message processing for high availability and low latency. 61 Collaborate with the backend team to build robust APIs. 61 Partner with React frontend developers to ensure seamless integration and user experience. 61 Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team. 61 Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure timely delivery of robust solutions. 61 Stay updated with the latest AI and frontend development technologies. 61 Identify opportunities to enhance existing systems and propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications 61 Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field: A solid foundational understanding of computer science principles and software engineering practices is essential. 61 Master’s Degree (preferred): Advanced education in relevant fields is a plus, demonstrating a deeper expertise and commitment to the field. 61 5+ years of experience in software development. 61 Expertise in React and frontend development. 61 Proficiency in either Python or .NET Core for backend development. 61 Experience with Kafka or similar message queue systems. 61 Proven experience in AI development, particularly with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other advanced AI technologies.
