We are seeking a versatile Copy Editor to manage copywriting, translation, and editorial tasks focused on prospects, new customers and repeat customers across its portfolio of products and services. The ideal candidate will ensure linguistic precision, cultural relevance, and brand consistency in English and Chinese materials, while adapting content for diverse audiences and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Plan and craft content for brand, product and service-related communications, including but not limited to marketing campaigns, website, landing pages, social media posts, grooming emailers, educational articles, promotional materials etc. Work closely with both global and local teams to translate and effectively localize English content relate to brand messaging, services, and products into Chinese, ensuring cultural adaptability for local market. Promptly review and refine content in use, maintaining a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and appeal to ensure it resonates effectively with the target customers. Maintain consistency in brand tone and voice across touch points. Conduct regular industry research and user surveys/interviews to understand market trends and needs. Wear an experimental hat to test variants of copies across touch points with the objective to improve customer experience and conversion rates.
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or advertising, master’s degree is a plus. Up to 3 years’ experience in copy writing and translation in publishing, digital marketing, social media or advertising. English proficiency in both oral and written. Excellent writing skills and passionate about copywriting, content creation and storytelling. Strong interest in academia, scientific research, publishing and the community. Self-starter with the ability to take complete ownership of a project. Team player showed ability to multi-task and easy adaptation to changes.
