Area of Responsibilities: Overall Objective: The Supply Planning Manager will lead efforts to enhance capacity planning, demand forecasting, and inventory optimization to meet customer requirements. They will develop and implement supply planning strategies that ensure shorter lead times, improved delivery reliability, and adherence to quality standards. By leveraging insights from the new ERP system and lessons learned in 2024, this role will play a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and supply chain efficiency.
Supply and Demand Planning: 1. Develop and execute supply planning strategies to optimize production schedules, inventory levels, and order fulfillment. 2. Conduct detailed demand forecasting to align production and procurement with customer requirements. 3. Identify and address supply chain bottlenecks to improve overall efficiency. Capacity Management: 4. Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to manage capacity effectively. 5. Propose adjustments to production plans and supplier schedules to mitigate capacity constraints. 6. Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Inventory Optimization: 7. Develop inventory management strategies to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce carrying costs. 8. Use data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand fluctuations, and manage inventory replenishment. 9. Ensure adherence to quality standards and timely delivery of products to customers. Process Improvement: 1. Leverage ERP data and functionalities to streamline supply planning processes. 2. Implement lessons learned from 2024 to enhance planning accuracy and reduce lead times. 3. Develop performance metrics and dashboards to monitor and improve department efficiency. Stakeholder Collaboration: 1. Work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure seamless integration of planning activities. 2. Communicate supply planning strategies and performance metrics to key stakeholders. 3. Engage suppliers to improve forecasting accuracy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Person Specification: 1. Skills / Competencies Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning. Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain planning tools. Analytical mindset with expertise in data analysis and decision-making. Effective communication and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure. 2. Education Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 3. Experience 8-10 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand forecasting, or related roles. Demonstrated success in implementing planning strategies to improve operational efficiency. Experience in utilizing ERP systems for supply planning optimization. Knowledge of supply chain operations in manufacturing or trading industries. 4. Travel Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with suppliers, stakeholders, or project teams. 5. Language Proficiency in English (spoken and written) required. Knowledge of Mandarin or other languages is a plus.
