Role Purpose Leading and managing the sales team to explore the market, maintain and develop sales channels, planning and implementation of the sales initiatives, marketing plans and sales analytics with the achievement of sales targets.
Key Accountability - Leading whole Shanghai sales team on daily work and taking full responsibilities for everything about Shanghai station. - Developing Sales Strategies: Creating and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share objectives. - Pay close attention to the changes of the market. Timely report important information to the line manager and adjust the operation and sales strategy. - Leading and managing a team of sales professionals to effectively promote the airline's products and services. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, government agencies, and other national tourism bureaus, cross-industry partners, and the key stakeholders. - Negotiating commercial agreements, contracts, and other terms to ensure profitable sales arrangements for the airline. - Participate in the industry exhibitions, tourism bureaus' roadshows, embassy events, and also organize joint roadshows with partners to expand business opportunities, and promote the company brand. - Organize and participate in the regular agency training. - Analyzing Sales Performance: Analyzing sales data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement. - Collaborating with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns, advertising initiatives, and other marketing activities to support sales efforts and enhance brand awareness. - Addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to sales activities. - Generating sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation to provide management with insights into sales performance and market trends. - To response and action on job related action items assigned by superior in timely manner.
Qualifications & Working Experience
- Bachelor Degree or above; - 8-10 years working experiences in the airlines in Shanghai region as sales executive and sales manager; - Extensive Knowledge of airline/travel industry with experience in Sales, Marketing, Reservations & Ticketing; - Good contact of travel agents, OTAs, corporate customer base, tourism & trade organizations; - Able to work independently, dynamic and resourceful; - Detail oriented, with good organizational skills i.e. Time Management, Task Management; - Good verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English; - Good knowledge of MS office 365.
