Main Responsibilities: Pre-season/category OTB management (50%): - Monitor and control the seasonal portfolio buying budget to ensure both topline and inventory are in the right position. - Collaborate with channel buyers and brand merchants to develop solid buy plans at the division/category/gender level. - Set monthly division/category sales target (ST%) goals by market, monitor weekly sales, identify risks, and provide actionable insights and solutions for future OTB and product lifecycle management. - Accountable for order results (OTB achievement) and consolidate order analysis at each buy gate (2 buy gates per season). - Implement China’s top article phasing shipment program, optimizing phasing signals to align with sales cadence. - In-season/Monthly Sales & Inventory Forecasting (25%): - Develop monthly sales and inventory rolling forecasts for the next 18 months by division/category/gender, identifying risks and proposing solutions to maximize business and maintain healthy inventory levels. - Monitor carryover product forecasts for 3 seasons, providing suggestions to influence seasonal buys. - Lead the execution of key initiatives as directed by senior leadership. Post-season/ return management from FP channel (25%): - Manage the return process in accordance with return rules and policies, ensuring timely integration of return lists with merchants, buyers, and stakeholders, and coordinating returns to the warehouse.
Requirements: - Ability to develop new technical tools (e.g., category rolling, buy forecast tool upgrades). - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data into actionable plans. -Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal -- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; self-starter with a drive to exceed objectives and take on more responsibility. -Vertical retail experience required; omni-channel experience highly desirable. -5+ years’ experience in demand planning, inventory management -Regular debriefing, discussion, feedbacks to brand merch partners
