Job Description:
The R&O engineering position will perform an integral technical role for the Honeywell Wheel & Brake (W&B) facility in Shanghai. The position is part of the Global Repair & Overhaul Engineering Organization, W&B (Mechanical) group.
The position requires a highly motivated individual and able to work with little supervision, with the opportunity to exercise their diverse technical and specific product knowledge to define, create and implement: rework, repair and evaluation of Honeywell products. The engineering environment is dynamic, fast paced, and allows the individual to interface with all aspects of Honeywell’s organization and product life cycle.
[1] Site Engineering Support
- Support, identify and create documentation needed for expanded repairs and test limits
- Direct engineering support of daily activity at the Shanghai facility
- Eliminate dependency on factory Product Engineering for unit evaluations
- Technical support of tooling, test equipment and documentation to effectively troubleshoot, implement FPY test improvements.
- Identify failure trends and support development of permanent solutions for repetitive squawks by drafting Overhaul Repair Instructions (ORIs) and using Global Repair Management System (GRMS)
- Work with shop technicians to identify repairs, improve bench test capability and create test alternatives
- Support Tech Sales in contract negotiations
- Grow AM business model working with ISC, Set-up capability for repair and overhaul of W&B product
[2] Productivity & Cost Reduction
- Actively seek out and identify areas to standardize the repair and test procedures for maximum savings and effectiveness across W&B and even other mechanical sites
- Drives productivity via Value Creation Process (VCP) Projects
- Constant review of remanufacturing process for cost take out and process improvement
- Develop and support COE strategies and work scope standards between W&B sites
- Implement repair documents (ORIs) that will be used both in the site and across the W&B business in support of standard work and reducing per part cost
- Facilitate productivity improvement projects that focus on material reduction across all products
- Identify the need for equivalencies and identify possible alternatives
- Identify and prioritize shop issues and develop a problem statement for engineering site leader
Qualification:
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- CCAR-66 Maintenance Personnel License with Maintenance Technical English Level 4.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- A minimum of 3 years or work experience in the W&B/Mechanical parts R&O Industry
- Knowledge of CAAC, FAA regulations and requirements/processes on Aero mechanical parts R&O
- Experience in Test Equipment handling and maintaining is a definite plus.
Additional Qualifications:
- Understanding of CAAR 145, FAR 145 (Repair Station)
- Understanding on compliance to export regulation and ITAR information
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office Products, some software programming would be a plus
- Interchangeability and Configuration Management of different product configurations certification.

二、生产效率与成本优化
主动寻找并推动机轮与刹车及其他机械类产品维修测试流程的标准化，以实现***成本节省和效率提升
通过价值创造流程（VCP）项目驱动生产力提升
持续审查再制造流程以降低成本并优化工艺
制定并支持全球卓越中心（COE）战略，协调各W&B站点间的工作范围标准
实施维修文件（ORIs），推动标准化作业并降低单件成本
主导以降低材料成本为核心的生产力改进项目
识别等效替代需求并开发替代方案
优先处理车间问题，为工程主管制定问题陈述
任职要求：
工程学学士学位（机械/航空航天工程优先）
持有中国民用航空局（CAAC）CCAR-66维修人员执照，并具备维修技术英语四级水平
出色的分析能力、书面/口头沟通能力及人际交往能力
至少3年机轮与刹车/机械部件维修与翻修行业工作经验
熟悉中国民航局（CAAC）、美国联邦航空管理局（FAA）对航空机械部件维修与翻修的法规要求及流程
具备测试设备操作与维护经验者优先
附加信息：
熟悉CCAR 145部、FAR 145部（维修单位审定）法规
了解出口管制规定及《国际武器贸易条例》（ITAR）要求
熟练使用Microsoft Office办公软件，具备基础编程能力者优先
掌握不同产品构型的互换性管理与配置认证
