Major tasks and responsibilities of position
61Responsible for the exploration, development, evaluation, and implementation of AI use cases, and translation of business opportunities and challenges into tangible AI applications.
61Project responsibility in AI projects using agile and design thinking methods, from conception to realization.
61Responsible for bridging between business units, functions, and technical teams to foster mutual understanding and alignment of AI capabilities and business requirements.
61Responsible for communication and engagement initiatives that ensure organizational awareness and broad participation in the AI transformation.
61Responsible for developing and conducting training and support initiatives to ensure user-friendly adoption and optimized utilization of AI solutions across various user groups within the organization.
61Responsible for measuring, interpreting, and communicating the impacts of generative AI solutions in the context of relevant financial and operational metrics, to ensure transparency and insights into the value and performance of AI initiatives.
61Responsible for thorough documentation of generative AI initiatives to maintain a repository that supports strategic planning and implementation of future AI endeavors.
Value added to the success of the company - what are the main objectives of the function?
Realizing the value proposition of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Covestro by enabling the embedding of models into existing business processes.
A crucial contributor to the 100 million euro EBITDA value creation goal for APAC AAA team by leading AI use cases from idea to implementation and accelerating AI adoption at Covestro.

Qualifications
· University degree (preferably Master's or PhD) in artificial intelligence, computer science, business administration, innovation management, technology management, organizational development, IT Management or a related field
· At least 5 years of professional experience in leading AI projects and are adept at applying agile and design thinking methods (more than 7 years of professional experience is preferred)
· Extensive experience in the field of AI and related technologies
· Consulting experience in chemical or manufacturing industry is preferred
· Ability to navigate a rapidly evolving technological landscape
· Ability to translate business opportunities and challenges into actionable applications and strategies
· Ability to develop and lead communication and engagement strategies to ensure clarity and understanding of transformation initiatives across the enterprise
· Ability to work with cultural agility and build/maintain relationships in a multicultural, interdisciplinary environment
· Friendly and confident demeanor with the ability to interact and influence at all organizational levels
· Fluent in Chinese and English and can present complex technical and business concepts clearly and convincingly to various stakeholders
