Job Description: Support the implementation of supplier development strategies to significantly improve Tenneco’s global supply base, including support in case of critical supplier quality and delivery issues, Cooperate with team and complete new supplier assessment to help team to make decisions on supplier selection. Complete supplier process/product audit as required. Push suppliers take actions for process improvement, build a robust process for quality control. Coordination of supply readiness for new projects. Complete PPAP on time, on-site supplier problem-solving (8D) support, containment set-up, or production monitoring on a need-to-support basis, Monitor supplier performance and drive supplier quality and process improvements. Conduct supplier quality audits as required.
Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree or above. Have working experience in the automotive industry. Above 8 years of experience with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in supplier quality improvement. Good at project tracking and management. Experience with assessment and audits IATF, and VDA audit certification desired. Good knowledge on APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, Control Plan etc. Good command of English. Able to understand technical drawings and specifications. Understand the GD&T rules. Familiar with methodologies like 6sigma & Lean manufacturing. Ability to work independently. Strong team player. Excellent communication skills; verbal and written. Prepared to travel up to 70 % of your time.
