WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a curious, active learner who is an excellent communicator and has a passion for creating world class footwear to help Athletes* perform their best to join our team as a Footwear Product Testing Analyst I based at Nike’s Shanghai headquarters. This role ensures that Nike footwear fits and performs up to the highest standards. The candidate will need strong interpersonal skills focused on developing Athlete* tester relationships. The candidate will have exceptional planning skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects. Candidates will be responnsbile for test sample management, tester base management, and on-site support during tests.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role, you’ll be assisting GC FPT team in working out a systematic way of sample storage management , and supporting Analysts with test related activities. A typical day is a combination of communicating with Analyst teammates & GC FPT Director in sample storage management logistics, preparing sample management documents, creation of team document templates, tester recruitment, tester base management, as well as on-site support for tests .
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll be partnering with Fotowear Product Testing teammates on a daily basis. You’ll also work alongside FPT Analysts while they connect with Athletes* to gain a better understanding of their needs and to capture their feedback. You will report to the Footwear Product Testing Director in Shanghai and you will be a part of the Footwear Product Testing Global community of Analysts.
WHAT YOU BRING
61 Bachelor’s degree preferred.
61 1 year's experience in a professional working environment or internship. Experience in the footwear, product testing, development, marketing, engineering, retail, Athletic or customer service industry is preferred.
61 Understanding of footwear components, materials, and inline productions processes is a definite plus.
61 Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Mandarin and English.
61 Experience working with athletes, coaches, and equipment managers.
61 Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with spreadsheet database and statistical analysis procedures.
61 Able to physically lift and carry items weighing 20 pounds.
61 Passion for sport is a must.
