As an assistant manager in indirect procurement team, the position is entitled to support to develop category purchasing strategy for Marketing, E-business, CRM, ensuring best procurement value and competitive advantage; to continuously improve supplier management mechanism ensuring a health and dynamic supplier pool; to work with global for synergy projects serving additional value for China market. - Strategic sourcing: Base on comprehensive understanding on purchasing needs, search and identify potential suppliers that meet the category purchasing strategy in advance, building a health & dynamic potential supplier pool. - Tender: Formulate tender documents properly, organize the tender according to process assuring the compliance. - Cost control: Work by cost analysis, price negotiation, market test, bidding, etc. to verify the price rationality and achieve the cost reduction - Contracting: Work with the legal to formulate contracts, negotiate clauses with suppliers and determine contract terms to ensure the rights and interests of company. - Delivery performance: Ensure the quality of deliverables through supplier capability evaluation, internal cooperation with stakeholders; Intervene quickly in failure of delivery. - Category strategy: Support to build effective procurement strategy for assigned category, including but not limited to collecting and analyzing internal demand, market benchmarking, etc, - Supplier management: For assigned category, evaluate supplier capability (information collection, on-site visit, review repot, etc.); Rake & grade vendors by performance evaluation; Phase out unqualified vendors. - Secure compliancy of the supply base to Sephora policies and carry out relevant risk management assessments. - Synergy opportunity during global projects. Qualification: - Bachelor degree, major in supply chain is preferred - More than 6 years of experience in indirect purchasing, including more than 3 years of experience in marketing services. - Independent project experience of procurement or supplier management for marketing services. - Have good performance and professional ethics in the procurement field. - Good communication skills, business negotiation ability, logical thinking, influence skills - Office tools skills (excel, ppt, etc,), and Ariba experience is a plus. - Fluent in English. - CIPS or CPPM certification is preferred(optional) - Proactive, integrity, result oriented, strong self-drive, flexible, optimistic, ability to work under pressure
