We are seeking a dedicated professional to ensure the accuracy of project budgets, maintain the competitiveness of our products, systems, and projects, and enable successful implementation within established budgets.
This position will directly report to Vice President, Pulp & Energy, China Area.
Position: Cost Estimate Accuracy (CEA) Specialist
Location: Jiading, Shanghai
Responsibilities:
61 Coordinate budgeting processes for new pulp mills and retrofits in both CAP and bigger scope PES
61 Participation in sales meeting and fwp of CE activities related
61 To elaborate the DOR (Division of Responsibility) for each project and discuss/alignment with project, engineering and Technology Unit teams
61 To plan the Business Model of sales process
61 To Analyze, comment and made suggestion on technical proposals
61 To elaborate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for all related items in delivery and logistic plan
61 To request technical and commercial support when quoting equipment's , materials and services with sub suppliers
61 Keep work tools (database, procedures, etc.) up to date
61 Perform TCA (Total Cost Analysis) in sales processes and discuss possibilities with TU to improve competitiveness Including the creation of a visual template divided by discipline (services, equipment, eng. Etc) of each proposal facilitating / standardizing the information to be evaluated by the sales team. In this same template contain charts prepared to show reductions of all disciplines during each revision
61 Participation in Compass follow-up meetings and group meetings
61 Prioritize activities in agreement with the Sales Manager to attend to customer deliveries
61 Carry out the activities under their responsibility related to the ERP System and other computerized systems of the company
61 Participate in the preparation of CUA (Cost Uncertainty Analysis) and R&O (Risk & Opportunities Analysis)
61 To elaborate the invoice planning for as sold projects
61 To elaborate report as built and costs incurred fwp for all discipline
61 To develop new suppliers and localization of all imported products
61 To perform presentations related to budgetary area including costs, taxes, business models ,etc.
Requirement·:
61 Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and present in both English and Mandarin.
61 Experience in Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Proven track record in coordinating budgeting processes.
61 Technical Skills: Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and ERP systems.
61 Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze proposals and perform cost analysis.
61 Relationship-Building Skills: Experience in developing and maintaining supplier and stakeholder relationships.
61 Self-Motivation and Resilience: Demonstrated ability to stay motivated and resilient in challenging situations.
