Overall Function: We are seeking to hire an energetic professional with demonstrated solid work experience and accomplishments in regulatory reporting of banking industry, to be part of ING China Finance team, which is responsible for overall financial reporting and financial control processing. The key responsibilities of the Finance Manager are to assist CFO and Finance VP in the preparation and analysis of local regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities: 61 Take lead in the implementation of new regulatory reporting requirements to ensure accuracy and reliability of information to be delivered to the regulators and internal users, establishing regulatory data standards and maximize the automation of data collection and submission process. 61 Liaise with key stakeholders including Data Technology, Risk, Operations, Treasury and FO to gain understanding of the business insides and to obtain accurate and timely data to complete reporting monitoring and forecasting. 61 Review the regulatory reporting deliverables of the finance team, exercise sufficient controls to ensure accuracy and completeness of the reporting and submission on timely basis. 61 Engage in regulatory reporting improvement project as needed, manage the changes and coordinate relevant resources for the success of the project. 61 Collaborate with compliance to monitor the relevant regulation development in China. Ensure awareness and preparation are undertaken early to implement foreseen changes. 61 Developing and maintaining strong relationships with the regulator to stay ahead of significant business and regulatory developments and assist the submit data to meet regulatory requirements. 61 To review proposals for new products or transactions focusing on regulatory reporting impact. 61 Flexible to take on Ad hoc tasks and help other team member when necessary.
Key competencies and qualifications: 61 The ideal candidate will have a university degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. 61 Minimal eight years’ experience in relevant position in a bank. 61 Flexibility to adapt to a challenging and very demanding working environment is a fundamental prerequisite for the candidate. 61 Good communication skills and able to manage different stakeholders and navigate different cultural environments. 61 Result-driven and able to push things forward in a persistent and constructive manner. 61 Well structured, autonomous, highly adaptive, flexible team player. 61 Strong analytical skills (the breakdown of complex issues in manageable pieces). 61 Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with strong English capability required.
