Missions and responsibilities:
SIGNIFICANT MISSIONS
83 Follow and develop further the existing clientele
o Factory level
61 Audit production lines to identify areas of return on investment for the customer
61 Present relevant solutions from the catalog or draw up specifications in conjunction with the customer
61 Test existing or newly developed products
61 Recover test reports from the customer
61 Have products coded and stocked in-house
61 Create supplier number
61 Draw up and suggest a quotation (quantity, price, transport conditions, payment terms)
61 Monitor and negotiate quotations
61 Train customer’s maintenance department
61 Seek information on application feedback
61 Seek information on competitors
61 Seek equivalence with competitors’ products 、
o Project level
61 Identify projects (new investments)
61 Research input data (schedule, volume, players)
61 Participate in defining project specifications (aim to be the sole supplier)
61 Participate in cross-functional organization of actions with customers, integrators, and subcontractors Create and propose a price offer (quantity, price, transport conditions, payment conditions)
61 Monitor and negotiate quotations
61 Train and inform integrators and subcontractors
61 Monitor the life and execution of the project (plant, integrators, subcontractors)
61 Monitor success indicators
o Purchasing Department level
61 Identify consumption of competing products
61 Monitor competition on price levels and delivery times
61 Open supplier account numbers
61 Draw up equivalences with competitors and propose them to the Purchasing Department
61 Create and propose a price offer (quantity, price, transport conditions, payment terms)
61 Monitor and negotiate quotations
o Miscellaneous
61 Respond to specifications for new products/business products
61 Participate in defining specifications for products to be designed for new applications
61 Define customer product lines dedicated to workshops/businesses
61 Participate in the development of new value-added solutions for customers
83 Business Development
o Seek out, prospect for and develop new customers, possibly in conjunction with the sales assistant
o Monitor and develop new products in line with the market and the needs expressed by customers and prospects
83 Organize and report
o Establish schedules independently and efficiently
o Maintain CRM tools
o Establish sales forecasts and action plans
o Create action pans and report to Sales Management
o Work in tandem with a Sales Assistantship and Sales Administrative Assistant
o Establish expense reports
o Alert Sales Management for any relevant market developments.
83 Any other mission required for the smooth running of the Sales department, at the request of the Sales Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEVEL OF AUTONOMY
83 For existing customers
o Develop sales in proportions to be defined with Sales Management
83 Develop a new clientele
o Develop sales with development potential according to the defined objectives, or on own initiative
o Develop the brand and increase the company’s visibility in the market
83 Organizational responsabilities
o Report technical and commercial information to the field (customer needs, competition, etc.).
o Produce technical files independently, if necessary in liaison with the sedentary Sales department and the Engineering and Methods department
o Produce visit reports and schedules o Monitor indicators o Use the CRM tool
o Follow procedures to ensure legal security of sales documents
o Follow company operating procedures
83 Having prices validated within the margins defined by Sales Management
83 Having contracts approved and signed by Sales Management
83 Having expenses approved by Sales Management
83 Having purchasing requests approved by Sales Management
83 Having incoming requests for new products validated by Sales Management
Level of autonomy:
Generally, work from home on Mondays for the administrative part of the job (20% of the working time) and regular business travels from Tuesdays to Fridays (80% of the working time).
Approximately 80% of the working time must be devoted to visiting customers and prospects

QUALIFICATIONS
83 Mandatory qualifications to hold the position :
83 Nice to have in terms of qualifications in order to be efficient of the position :
o 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in the production of industrial and technological solutions in terms of manufacturing processes (machine manufacturers, sensors, equipment solutions, etc.) for automakers, ideally in the field of automation and electronics
o Bachelor’s to master’s degree in automation, electronics, mechanics or the likes, and sales
