JOB DESCRIPTION 86 Be familiar with and stay tune to the AML/CTF laws & regulations, risk alerts, ML typology analysis reports, risk assessment reports published by PBOC and other financial regulators; analysis on criminal trend, risk alerts, criminal typology reports & work published by judiciary authorities; money laundering cases as well as upstream crimes in the industry; AML regulatory opinions provided by PBOC; other factors which PBOC requires to attend to. 86 Develop and update AML transaction monitoring & reporting policies and procedures. 86 AML transaction monitoring and reporting, i.e. large-sum transaction/suspicious transaction monitoring, analysis, investigation and reporting. 86 AML transaction monitoring rules development & enhancement; filing new rule with regulator; monitoring rules annual review. 86 Work closely with relevant SMEs on deployment of monitoring rules into system. 86 Advice on the optimization of transaction monitoring system as needed to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; work closely with relevant SMEs to get the optimization in place. 86 Support AMLO and CCO in build-up and/or ongoing enhancement of a robust AML/CTF/Sanctions program in EC, and ensure effective and efficient implementation of the said. 86 Support AMLO and CCO in the operation of AML corporate governance, e.g. preparation of AML topics related meetings materials for AMLG/RCC/BOD where needed. 86 Proactively identify money laundering/terrorist financing/sanctions risks, timely report to AMLO and/or CCO. 86 Work closely with Regulatory Compliance staff and/or other stakeholder(s) to timely file AML related report(s) as required, address regulator’s queries, complete surveys, etc. 86 Coordinate and cooperate in AML compliance Monitoring & Testing, Internal Audit, follow up on the action plan if any. 86 Other ad hoc activities with regard to AML/CTF/Sanctions.
JOB REQUIREMENT 86 Relevant Degree (or equivalent) from recognized University, major in law is preferred. 86 At least 6 years’ AML experience gained in banking, payment or bank card clearing industry. Experience dedicated in customer due diligence, customer risk rating, AML risk assessment, transaction monitoring is must. Experience with cross-border business, AML system, data analysis is plus. Profound understanding of applicable regulatory requirements. Be professionally sensitive to the trend and development of AML/CTF/Sanctions laws as well as the AML/CTF/Sanctions risks evolvement in the industry. 86 Experience of handling the regulatory examination, reporting and communicating with PBOC and CBIRC is highly preferred. 86 Qualification of law, AML certificate (i.e. CAMS) or other professional qualification is a plus. 86 Self-driven. Strong analytical and implementation skills. Able to demonstrate strategic and logical thinking. 86 Proven ability to build relationships with other stakeholders.
