We are looking for a new colleague the Plant Logistics Manager for ZF at our location of Shanghai. The whole plant is equipped with cutting edge technology and now lead by a seasoned leader in Auto parts industry.

What you can look forward to as a Plant Logistics Manager:

● Be responsible for multi-functional management, including Warehouse, Production & Material Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics. Be the *** contact to the customer on logistics topics for local customer inquiries and coordinate with the customer on delivery schedules and transportation of product to customer.
● Develop and implement an overall logistics plan to support production requirements with regards to equipment, staff, and space requirements as well as to promote low cost, high inventory turns, and a safe, efficient material flow and achieve the goals.
● Provide effective leadership to the team. Translate each performance goal into a structured Improvement Plan. Monitor performance, develop plans to improve the delivery and supply performance as well as all plant logistics processes, and implement measures for improvement via regular team meetings or similars.
● Implementation and Management of SAP Systems - Design and implement business processes in alignment with the SAP system. Maintain accurate database. And further assist in the development and review of implementation of the standards, policies, and processes defined by global-/regional cross function.
● Implement e-business tools such as EDI, electronic ASN, and use of VIN / DCCAR tools to ensure efficient communication.
● Detect root cause of eventual supplier shortages and report lessons learn to the management team.

Your Profile as a Plant Logistics Manager:

● BS/BA or equivalent Degree or Diploma in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management or Business Engineering. CPIM/MBA is a plus.
● 5 years of professional experience as a Manager in the field of logistics or supply chain management in a Multinational manufacturing company. Automotive Industry Tier 1 preferred. A similar scope of functions is needed.
● Experience in the automotive industry (OEM or 1st tier) as well as in a JIT and JIS environment.
● Proven communication skills with people of all professional levels.
● Profound PC skills (MS Office) and solid knowledge as well as experience with SAP.
● Proven leadership skills and an excellent process understanding as well as an integrative character.
● Fluent verbal and written in both English and Mandarin.
