As a Technology Scout you are responsible for exploring the market trends, identify technologies leading to new developments for top-level roof systems and translate this to business opportunities. It’s your challenge to perform your tasks within the budget, against the agreed quality level and within the given time plan with a strong customer focus. In this position you operate in Global teams and work closely together with the advanced engineers and project teams. You report directly to the Manager Advanced Engineering (HQ Venray).

61Understand roof systems and roof functions and be able to identify new feature and technology integration.
61 Develop product and innovation roadmaps to further develop Inalfa's product portfolio and support the movement towards a mechatronic company with related products.
61 Monitor continuous for new technologies, products and market trends.
61 Translate trends, new ideas and technologies into business opportunities and future product and features.
61 Manage quality and accessibility of technical (project) documentation with clear USP’s.
61 Realize projects according to the Technology Roadmap and achieve Advanced Engineering Goals and Objectives.
61 Maintain key stakeholder contacts for development and forward-thinking strategies.
Job Requirements:
61Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automotive Engineering / Mechatronic Engineering on a BsC or MSC level.
61You bring a pragmatic and pro-active approach.
613 year+ of experience, preferably with automotive experience.
61Have knowledge of mechanical systems and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies
61Have a service/customer-oriented approach with good analytical and organizational skills. In your work you focus on results, and you are able to manage your planning and set priorities.
61Proven capabilities to be an effective communicator, bridge builder with existing or new suppliers/development companies.
61A creative and open mindset.
61It is important to have good communication skills in English.
61Be able to accept business trips both domestically and internationally.
