JOB SUMMARY As part of Belden’s Customer Innovation Center teams, lead and execute the technical strategy and initiatives defined with the regional Sales teams. Starting from lead nurturing to Post Sale Support, the Solution Consultant is a technical partner of Solution Sales and supports vertical growth by converting customers’ ideas and visions into customized One Belden solutions enabling guaranteed business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Provide the Technical Leadership influence in all assigned Key Accounts and critical or complex projects 2. With strong process know-how and diagnostic insights to compel Solutions with demonstrable financial value impact for solution creation and localization. 3. Support pipeline growth and success rate through developing and delivering outcome-based Solutions to Customers managed by Solutions Sales colleagues and achieve sales objective. 4. Construct business value impact around business outcomes, building credibility and sponsorship by using Account's terminology and KPIs 5. Lead development of solutions that utilize capability of all Belden brands and 3rd party products. 6. Collaborate with CIC Solution Support team in development/execution of POCs, FATs, and network audits 7. Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and Competitors’ solutions 8. Provide future-based technical insights to enable project wins and customer loyalty 9. Design and support technology campaigns such as Webinars, Roadshows, Trade fairs 10. Represent customer’s voice in Business Unit strategy and new product introduction processes 11. Provide Market Insight to Sales, Product Management and R&D to support definition of customer and vertical market propositions
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Education & Experience 1. 5 + years of experience in factory automation solution creation in SemiConductor Vertical or Electronic related manufacture industries 2. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with a focus on IT or Industrial Automation 3. Master’s Degree preferred, or a track record in a professional career with significant technical accountability 4. Experience of working within a medium to large sized international organization and projects with a matrix environment 5. Strong know-how and experience in industrial processes of manufacturing and infra-structures. 6. Proven track record within a tech/service, solution development role in a market and industry relevant to the Belden organization 7. Experience working with cross functional teams, including Sales, Marketing and Product Development 8. Experience in OT/IT technical know-how (e.g. Cloud, IIOT, ICS) and applications insights (e.g. FMCS, Fab manufacture Process, Fab OEM, Centralized Control System)
Abilities 1. Ability to create CVP‘s (Customer Viable Product) with multi-product solutions and technologies 2. Must have both the technical, operational, and commercial affinity to operate credibly within the Accounts or Vertical allocated 3. Demonstrate the ability to translate complex, technical information into comprehensible conversation with a non-technical audience. Ability to professionally present Belden’s solutions to a diverse audience 4. Demonstrate solid knowledge and understanding of key technology and market trends, and Competitors’ solutions 5. Demonstrate analytical skills and the ability to work within a metric driven environment 6. Ability to work successfully in a fast paced and pressured work environment 7. Demonstrate a pro-active, flexible, and pragmatic approach
