Job Responsibilities: Program Payment Management & Compliance 61 Ensure adherence to program contract payment terms and conditions. 61 Monitor and track payment schedules to ensure timely execution. 61 Identify and resolve payment discrepancies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. 61 Implement strategies to expedite customer payments while mitigating financial risks. Negotiation & Commercial Claims Resolution 61 Lead in-country negotiations related to program payments and claims with China commercial aerospace OEMs. 61 Influence stakeholders to ensure prompt payments and minimize financial exposure due to claims. 61 Develop and implement negotiation strategies that align with Parker Aerospace’s financial and contractual objectives. 61 Serve as the primary liaison for resolving disputes and claims in coordination with internal teams. Regulatory & Governance Compliance 61 Oversee compliance with China’s regulatory and Customer requirements related to customs clearance, foreign exchange controls, and financial approvals. 61 Manage customs clearance processes and shipment inspections to facilitate smooth deliveries. 61 Maintain knowledge of complex and changing customer approval processes. Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Influence 61 Work closely with Parker Aerospace China (PAC) team members to align contract execution with business objectives. 61 Establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers and partners. 61 Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding payment risk mitigation and contract optimization potentials. 61 Drive continuous improvement initiatives in payment processes and dispute resolution strategies. Contract Interpretation & Risk Management 61 Accurately interpret program contract terms and ensure alignment with business operations. 61 Identify potential financial or contractual payment risks and propose mitigation strategies. 61 Support internal teams by providing guidance on contractual obligations.
Qualifications: Education & Experience: 61 Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience which has provided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field. 61 Minimum 3 years of combined experiences in contract negotiation, payment management, or commercial claims within the aerospace or manufacturing industry. 61 Prior experience working with China-based commercial aerospace OEMs is highly desirable. Functional Expertise: 61 Knowledge in customs clearance, foreign exchange controls, and regulatory compliance in China. 61 Proficiency in payment tracking and risk assessment related to program contracts. 61 Familiarity with requirements affecting program payments and shipments. Negotiation & Problem-Solving Skills: 61 Proven ability to lead negotiations related to customer payments and claims. 61 Strong influencing skills to expedite payments and minimize financial exposure. Communication & Stakeholder Management: 61 Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. 61 Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. 61 Strong presentation skills to convey contract terms, financial implications, and negotiation strategies.
