TB China Buyers are those travel industry professionals, engaged in Chinese outbound and inbound leisure travel, MICE & Business Travel, who have the decision-making power to purchase domestic and overseas destination resources or travel technology/software products.
The position of Buyer Manager shall be responsible for overall Buyers & Visitors Management, such as promotion, recruitment, service handling, online and offline activities of the ITB CHINA Buyers Circle throughout the year, including but not limited to the following specific matters:
- Develop, implement and review the plan for ITB China buyer program and visitor promotion, including budget planning, promotion & recruitment plan, hosted buyer program, buyers circle activities and so on. - Establish and maintain good cooperative relationships with major buyer companies and industry associations in both domestic and international travel markets. - Implement and manage ITB China buyers’ circle activities not only during the show time but also throughout the year, to maximize active participation of qualified domestic and international travel buyers. - Maintain buyer and visitor data collected and accumulated over the years, keeping client information dynamically updated. - Approve and manage ITB China buyers & visitors online registration, virtual platform, incentive center, hosted buyer program and its pre-scheduled matchmaking meetings with exhibitors (only for buyers). - Observe the development trend of Chinese outbound and inbound travel industry, conduct regular market research and analysis. - Work closely with various departments such as sales, marketing, operations and finance and to ensure that the buyer & visitor programs are executed smoothly and meet the company's standards. - Follow up on other matters related to buyer and visitor and complete other reasonable/relevant tasks as arranged by the COMPANY.
Requirements: - Bachelor degree, at least 5 years of experience in the exhibition industry, preferably related with project management. - Strong organizational skills, good time management and attention to detail. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure. - Ability to learn quickly, love cross-cultural teamwork, work in a self-motivated attitude. - Excellent cross-cultural communication and coordination skills in oral and written English and Chinese. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other office software.
