Key Responsibilities: 1. Research the market capacity of the American region, the market share of various container brands, customer consumption tendencies and customer information, and actively understand and feedback dynamic information of customers, the industry and competitors, etc. 2. Understand the overall business development policies, plans and assigned tasks of superiors and the team, and implement the plans and tasks. 3. Develop customers in the American region, proactively understand and analyze customer needs, identify customer pain points, and provide win-win solutions for customers; establish good customer relationships and maintain the company's image and interests. 4. Assist or be responsible for business negotiations, complete contract signing, collection of payment, channel maintenance, handling of new goods storage issues at the terminal, etc., and manage credit limits and control risks; be able to collaborate with the sales support team to complete order execution in a timely manner. 5. Optimize logistics delivery plans, handle unexpected events such as port strikes or extreme weather, and ensure on-time delivery. 6. Monitor market price fluctuations, regional supply and demand changes and policy trends.
Qualifications: 1. Familiar with the business cultures of major port cities in the Americas (such as Los Angeles, New York, Colon, Santos, etc.) and possess a legal residence status. 2. Familiar with the operational procedures of container trade, port operations and customs processes. 3. Master the INCOTERMS 2020 rules and have practical experience in handling letters of credit. 4. Have experience in developing small and medium-sized clients; having a successful case of developing a client with an annual transaction volume of ≥ 5 million US dollars is preferred. 5. Be willing to engage in cross-border emergency coordination and have experience in handling port emergencies. 6. Have a good understanding of international trade-related knowledge; possess a broad vision, wide-ranging interests, and a certain foundation in economic knowledge. 7. Have a good team spirit; having experience in working with cross - cultural teams is preferred.
