Job Description: 61 Daily technical duties at SKU level, providing technical advice to sourcing team to ensure products comply with UK, EU and US regulations. 61 Liaise with suppliers to ensure all relevant products are tested appropriately according to regulations. 61 Evaluate samples and recommend improvements to ensure products are safe and ‘Fit for Purpose’. 61 Fully accountable for the quality, safety, integrity and legal compliance of products within assigned area of responsibility. 61 Working closely with the team, service provider understanding of the product category, ensuring all quality safety legal and brand integrity requirements are met. 61 Effective management and closure of product incidents to agreed timescales. Ensure all lines hit launch date for technical and quality criteria, as per critical path 61 To undertake in-line inspections when necessary to ensure smooth shipments. 61 To carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager.02 61 Able to travel 02Education & Experience Required: 61 Higher Diploma or above in Textile. With min 3 years Technical experience with an02European buying / sourcing office, experience in electronic and hardgoods area is an advantage. 61 Self-motivated individual with high level of integrity 61 Excellent attention to detail with good planning and organisational skills. 61 Experience in a broad range of consumer products (Stationery, Toys, Electronics etc.) with recent knowledge of these product standards, legal requirements and manufacturing technology. 61 Detailed knowledge of product labelling & testing requirements for the UK, EU and US. 61 Quality Systems and Social Compliance auditing experience. 61 The ability to work in a small team 61 Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
