Under general guidance of (Sr.) Manager/ Manager, manage the following responsibilities:
61 Daily management of assigned Logistics Service Provider (LSP’s) and active handling all issues and developments
61 Maintain detailed knowledge on LSP operations.
61 Maintain excellent relationship with LSP/TSPs on facility and partner level, making sure Amgen’s interests are served to the maximum.
61 Maintain and manage agreements with LSP and actively review periodically.
61 Escalate LSP audit findings if auditors have issues getting acceptable responses.
61 Develop and maintain department SOPs and other controlled documents on LSP/TSP management.
61 Liaise with global counterparts, relevant departments, and networks to ensure global alignment on LSP management.
61 Own quality records related to LSP activities- Metrics and performance monitoring reports.
61 Manage other projects as assignedBasic Qualifications Master's Degree & no Supply Chain experience OR Bachelor's Degree & 2 years of Supply Chain experience OR Associate’s degree & 6 years of Supply Chain experience OR High school diploma/GED & 10 years of Supply Chain experience
Preferred
Qualifications
61 Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or life science and 5 years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
61 Knowledge of clinical supply chain management
61 Experience in using ERP systems, i.e., SAP.
61 Result focused and proven ability to deliver results.
61 Independent self-starter, able to work autonomously, under pressure and in teams.
61 Project Management
61 Experience managing suppliers and improving processes.
61 Quick process understanding, insight and visualizing.
61 Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint
61 Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
61 Problem solver with strong sense of responsibility
