Product Manager – Solar Tracking Electronics Location: Shanghai Department: BU Solar Reports to: BU Solar Product Owner ________________________________________ Job Description The Product Manager in China will be responsible for positioning and evolving the Solar Tracking Electronics product in the Chinese market and across the APAC region. This role will serve as a key link between engineering, manufacturing, sales, and customers, ensuring the product meets local market requirements and actively driving their evolution. A strong focus will be placed on defending the product’s differentiation and reliability while aligning it with the specific needs of the Chinese customer — needs the Product Manager will also help shape. The role includes promoting a clear understanding of the product among customers and ensuring they receive optimal support aligned with the organization’s strategy. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities 61 Represent the product in China as a technical and commercial reference. 61 Identify and analyze local market needs (requirements, customers, regulations, competition) and translate them into the product roadmap. 61 Coordinate with corporate R&D teams, local suppliers, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper product adaptation. 61 Take part in product launches, technical presentations, and training sessions for customers and partners. 61 Monitor product performance and propose continuous improvements in coordination with the Product Owner (HQ). 61 Build and present technical arguments and competitive comparisons to customers. 61 Participate in trade fairs, client visits, and technical marketing activities. ________________________________________ Requirements 61 Technical background (degree in Electronic, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or similar). 61 Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, technical business development, or similar fields, preferably in the solar PV or energy sector. 61 Knowledge of the tracker ecosystem and solar market in China is a plus. 61 Ability to work in multicultural and multidisciplinary environments. 61 High level of proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
