GENERAL DESCRIPTION 61 Manages commercial and supplier aspects of product development and sourcing projects. 61 Works with the UK buyers and team members on executing sourcing objective/goal/strategy/measure in designated product categories, in alignment with the company’s overall strategy. 61 Strengthen relationship with key suppliers through enhanced collaboration for sustainable business growth; Participates in strategic meetings with suppliers and business leaders to drive efficiency and execution of defined strategies. 61 Conducts supplier analysis, evaluates potential suppliers, and manages the overall supplier performance, develops and create sourcing plans, requests for proposals, and other sourcing documents, evaluates and/or recommends sourcing decisions to UK buyers. 61 Seize opportunity of cost reduction in designated product categories. 61 Proactively manage price inflation risk, geographic risks and other risks associated with Sourcing while maximizing margin opportunities. 61 Share best practice within the team and drive process improvements efforts across the extended supply chain to improve efficiency. 61 Attend trade fairs to understand market trend and technology evolvement. Identify and capture the market intelligence to feedback to UK buyer’s team to seize the opportunity where appropriate. WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS 82 At least 5 years’ experience in trading, buying office, with at least 2 years of related experience as a manager. WOFE experience is preferable. 82 Excellent product knowledge and experience in DIY Tools. 82 Track records of supplier development and management experience, strong communication and negotiation skills 82 Fluent in English, both written and oral. Proficiency of computer literate. 82 Electronic products experience is plus EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 82 Bachelor’s degree with engineering background
