Responsible for supplier management including Audits and component approval process etc. Focus on various commodities such as IC and electronic components, plastics and metals.
POSITION RESPONSIBLITY:
61 Actively involved in new component sourcing and development process
61 Involved in the TFC (Team Feasibility Commit) and CTS (Component Track Sheet) process with Purchasing, Engineering and Suppliers.
61 Involved in CLD (Control level) definition together with Project Buyer and Engineering.
61 Involved in contract review with Project Purchasing, Design Engineering and suppliers.
61 Owner of component supplier APQP
61 Define the APQP/PPAP tasks with the suppliers.
61 Follow up completion of APQP/PPAP tasks in terms of timing and quality for defined deliverables.
61 Participate in supplier production trial runs and Run at Rate per contact review.
61 Perform audits and PFMEA go and see as applicable for new projects.
61 Define the Incoming inspection / DAR (Dock Audit Report) template and manage the safe launch at the supplier as applicable.
61 Responsible for the supplier component PPAP approval, to provide on-time approved parts for Veoneer application team.
61 Escalate APQP delays / deviations according to Veoneer Standards.
61 Actively connected with Veoneer internal project teams with Project Purchasing and CCB project teams with Serial Purchasing.
61 Plan and execute regular supplier audits.
61 Manage changes from suppliers, risk assessment and change control.
61 Support other regions in terms of supplier onsite activities when requested.
61 Reporting supplier performance rating for APQP and Responsiveness performance.
61 Be involved in Escalation Model, support or leading Non-Conforming Material problem solving.
61 Review supplier performance on a regular basis globally via VS051 rating.
61 Provide Management status reports on regular basis
61 Other related work assigned by leader.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
n Diploma: Bachelor’s degree with a significant professional experience.
n Working Experience: +5 years working experience with minimum 3years SQE role in automobile industry. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes on related components (IC preferred).
n Quality tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, etc., Audit skill, certified auditor preferred.
n Soft Skills: Good communicator skill, Outgoing, teamwork spirit, clear presentation skills.
n Being able to travel frequently to supplier sites with great job done in both domestic and international.
