In collaboration with UPM R&D teams, you will –
1. Design, execute and monitor experiments related to cell culture media optimization and upstream process development
2. Support tech transfer of developed projects from/to customer sites
3. Accountable for completing the assigned task in a timely manner
4. Maintenance of lab facility, equipment and technical improvements
5. Document study results in notebooks, forms, and technical reports
6. Effective communication of data/results through written documentation and oral presentation

Who you are:
1. Master’s degree or above in Biological Science, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology
2. 3+ years of industrial working experience in upstream process development
3. Hand-on experience of mammalian cell culture with fed-batch/perfusion process
4. Experience and skills in data science and bioinformatics
5. Strong learning agility
6. Good collaborative and communication skills
7. Previous experience in optimization using statistical tools (DOE) is preferred
8. Good spoken and written English
