Duties and responsibilities – What you will be doing Product Testing Management - 70% of Role 61 Oversee testing of Talking Tables and customer products with our global supply base. 61 Work directly with our preferred testing partners to ensure our products meet the needed regulatory requirements. 61 Collate results and ensure they are communicated internally. 61 Work to ensure that our indoor fireworks testing and compliance is up to date. 61 Conduct in house testing where possible. i.e candle burn test. Compliance Management 61 Reviewing product packing to ensure it meets regulatory requirements. 61 Generate compliance documents as needed. 61 Ensure our products meet the FSC requirements. 61 Assist with EUDR implementation and assist our suppliers in gathering data where needed. 61 Manage internal technical files to ensure they are clear and concise. 61 Support on implementation of new processes internally. 61 Gather and report to third party bodies on a number of different regulatory requirements, i.e plastic waste directive. Regulatory Updates 61 Work with external partners to monitor new technical regulatory updates. 61 Educate internal team globally on upcoming changes which will affect our products through sharing sessions. Testing Portals 61 Update internal and external customer portals with compliance documentation. Risk management & Quality Assurance 61 Conduct risk assessments of products capturing information clearly. 61 Highlight any product risks to the UK Product Development team during development stage. 61 Ensure our product meet the quality requirements of Talking Tables. 61 Review samples and comment if there are protentional quality issues. 61 Working with UK customer service team to address any complaints that may arise. Factory Auditing & Quality Control Management - 30% of Role 61 Assist with supplier internal auditing and supplier management. 61 Work with suppliers to manage corrective action plans. 61 Visit sites to ensure product and site are to TT standards. 61 Assist with product quality control check onsite. 61 Supporting to ensure customer portals are up to date with correct information. Who you will be Experience in role 2-3 years There will be a minimum of 30% travel required for this role. Skills Product knowledge: Ideally food contact, explosives, toys or other high risk product categories Up to date with regulations in UK,EU and USA: ie EUDR, GPSR’s etc An individual who embodies our core values Key attributes 61 Experience in both QA and QC, ideally within a sourcing office for a European or USA based importer of consumer goods. 61 Previous experience and/or qualifications as an auditor would be a benefit but not a must. 61 Relationship builder 61 Excellent written and spoken English. 61 Experience of working with Major UK retailers. 61 A high standard of morals and discretion is needed. 61 Be a team player and happy to be part of a small team. 61 Self-starter with initiative 61 Comfortable in fast paced environment. 61 Organised and accurate. 61 Flexible as necessary. 61 Friendly, fun but firm personality Values and Culture Our Values People are the essence of our company and at the heart of everything we do.
