Responsibilities: 1)Provide strategic partnership analyses and solutions to CStone senior management regarding global commercial strategies and activities / development issues facing various alliances. 2)Manage day-to-day alliance activities for multiple international partners, including coordination, governance, and issue resolution. 3)Conduct market research and commercial assessment of local and international markets to inform strategic decision-making. 4)Ensure that integrated, transparent business processes are established between the partners to ensure the teams meet the commercial plans and assumptions with a data-driven approach. 5)Conflict Management/Problem Solving: establish partnership mission and guiding principles (how success is defined) and act as independent ombudsman for the alliance (what is best for the molecule). 6)Manage Alliance Governance & Relationships: help facilitate key alliance governance meetings, develop partnership interventions to increase teamwork/trust between CStone and its partners. 7)Coordinate internally with regulatory, QA, medical, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure effective support for partner needs. 8)Provide overall project management on Alliance projects.
Qualifications: 1)Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Legal or related science or technical field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus. 2)10+ years of relevant pharmaceutical / biotech industry experience required. 3)Management Consulting or Corporate Development experience is a plus. 4)Prior experience successfully negotiating and executing supply agreements is plus. 5)Experience working across multiple markets, especially Europe and Rest of World (ROW), is highly desirable. 6)Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to interpret data and challenge assumptions constructively. 7)Strong financial experience. 8)Excellent Judgment – regarding the “how”, “what”, and “when” of addressing alliance partners and key stakeholders with sensitive issues. 9)Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to work across cultures and functions. 10)Self-motivated and comfortable operating independently in a lean, fast-paced organization. 11)Early morning / late evening work hours.
