该职位直接汇报给国外,要求英文可以作为工作语言 Main tasks & key responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Engineering Team Leader to oversee and guide our machine design engineering team based at Shanghai. This role involves lead design efforts, ensuring technical excellence, driving project delivery from concept to completion, customer order to FAT, solving supplier, production & site installation queries/issues, doing continuous improvement of products & driving cost reduction initiatives, bringing new ideas & features to products etc. - Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineers - Manage the design and development of motorized cable reel systems and components in accordance with customer specifications. - Responsible for the completion of 3D models, assemblies, and detailed production drawings, including Bills of Materials (BOMs). - Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Manage the distribution of workloads, assignment of projects, and evaluation of team performance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including GPS, Sales, Service, Production, Supply Chain, Quality, and Global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Italy and India—to ensure alignment and project success. - Lead cost-reduction initiatives and integrate innovative features into cable reels to enhance functionality and efficiency - Update existing designs, components, and subsystems to enhance manufacturability, performance, quality, and cost efficiency. - Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering deliverables with a strong focus on '***-time-right' execution - Responsible for performing machine design calculations, conducting Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and developing or updating design matrices - Maintain and consistently meet Engineering KPIs.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering/Production Engineering degree with 15 yrs. of experience in Machine design field. - Minimum 5 yrs of experience as lead team - Extensive experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in the design and development of systems, subsystems, and components for heavy machinery and industrial equipment. - Proven track record of successfully integrating new features into machines and industrial equipment. - Strong hands-on proficiency with SolidWorks, ensuring high-quality design and modelling. - Deep understanding of manufacturing drawings and production processes, ensuring seamless production and assembly. - Experience with project management tools and techniques
