Role Profile: 1.Provide Technical and Operational support to the Operations Department and to Operations Manager in the day to day running of the Department. 2.Provide technical support to the Diesel and Workshop section. 3.Ensure the effective technical, delivery and quality control of any sub-contractors. 4.Be involved in the continuous technical improvement in the Operations Department. 5.Support all group and company initiatives 6.Ensure that technical objectives and targets are achieved through monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). 7.Build strong relationships with clients in the region to identify market necessities and potentials and establish links to facilitate new business. 8.Ensure the business evaluates and develops personnel, skills and methods as part of its overall continuous improvement environment 9.To develop and assess the skills of all frontline employees, develop individual skills development goals and training plans 10.Regularly carry out special technical training, especially according to the quality accident, avoid to rework 11.To collect and issue all technical instruction documents 12.To support work & engine depts to develop new technology 13.Prepare necessary ISO work instructions, risk assessment and checklist for all works 14.Communicate and cooperate with the other Goltens business units in an open, honest, efficient and professional way to the benefit of the Goltens Group of companies. 15.Carry out your duties and responsibilities as Technical Manager of Goltens Shanghai in the most diligent, ethical and professional way. 16.Any other tasks as and when assigned by the management.
Requirements of the Position: 1.At least Degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering 2.At least 8 years working experience in Marine or Offshore Industry 3.2 & 4 stroke Reconditioning Diesel Engine knowledge. 4.Machining Experience. 5.Knowledge in reading production drawings 6.Fabrication Experience 7.Competent in Microsoft Office 8.Competent in AutoCAD or the others 9.Fluent in English speaking and report writing 10.Ability to work well under pressure 11.Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently and efficiently 12.Continuous improvement mindset. 13.Mathematical aptitude 14.Analytical, planning, execution and problem-solving skills 15.Excellent managerial and mentorship skills 16.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 17.Good team player with can do attitude, integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills. 18.People Management Experience. 19.Marine or Offshore Industry
