OVERVIEW:
Fastenal China is looking to deploy add a Supplier Development Manager to support our business in the region. This individual will be focused on product and supplier development for the local Chinese market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
61 Working closely with our sales department to ensure that their needs and strategic supplier objectives are met
61 Developing marketing programs for our branches and end-users
61 Developing standard SKUs into our core systems
61 Managing cost and pricing models that meet sales and profitability objectives
61 Managing supplier relationships including commercial terms and annual contracts
61 Working to ensure seamless integration of product data into our system
61 Maintaining appropriate product offering and presentation on company website
61 Developing and introducing new product lines
61 Coordinating with our global colleagues to identify and support direct-import opportunities

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
61 Applicants must be nationals of China or have a valid visa and work permit to live, work and travel across China without issue
61 Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
61 Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
61 Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
61 Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
61 Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
61 Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
61 Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
61 Prior work experience with product association, placement, and supplier negotiations
61 Knowledge and familiarity with industrial products.
