The Role Gorilla Commerce is seeking a hard-working, personable, open to learning, collaborative, and positive attitude individual. In this role you work closely with the quality assurance team, including Quality manager, Quality coordinator, Inspection supervisor, packaging engineers, and US regulatory and compliance, to help bring our products and brands to life and drive revenue and positive consumer reviews.
This role will provide daily support for projects and team members who work to ensure that all Gorilla products are safe and compliant. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a business support role and/or experience working in a product focused business setting.
What You’ll Do 61 Ensure all products comply with applicable quality, safety, and regulatory, as well as any retailer-specific requirements (e.g., Walmart’s & Amazon protocols). 61 Coordinate and oversee comprehensive product testing (chemical, physical, and performance) to verify product safety, regulatory compliance, and functional claims. 61 Ensure all required quality documentation, test reports, and compliance certificates are accurately prepared, maintained, and accessible. 61 Stay current with evolving product regulations and retailer quality standards. Continuously monitor changes in international regulations and client requirements. 61 Review test results from accredited laboratories and collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate failed or pending outcomes, providing clear recommendations for next steps. 61 Review test protocols provided by laboratories and effectively communicate testing requirements to the sourcing team and vendors. 61 Evaluate samples at various development stages, issue detailed sample evaluation reports, and follow up on necessary improvements. 61 Oversee the status of testing samples, ensuring lead times, quotations, and deliverables are received on schedule. 61 Collaborate with management to review and approve artwork and packaging. 61 Support other projects and responsibilities as assigned by QA leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
61 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science 61 Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or manufacturing of household hardlines or home textiles 61 Excellent oral and written English skills 61 Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused, service-oriented mindset 61 Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to manage deadlines effectively 61 Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel 61 Familiarity with project management tools is an advantage 61 Proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and motivated by continuous change 61 Excellent data analysis skills with a strong attention to detail
