● Strategic Supplier Management: Lead the formulation of category-specific supplier strategies for motor components (e.g., magnetic steel, copper wire, insulation materials), aligning with business objectives and market trends. Drive end-to-end negotiations to secure optimal pricing, delivery terms, and service agreements with key vendors in the motor component supply chain. ● Supplier Portfolio Optimization: Initiate and manage the New Supplier Introduction (NSI) process for motor components, evaluating vendors against quality standards (e.g., magnetic flux density for steel, conductivity for copper), cost benchmarks, and production capacity. Develop annual supplier roadmaps for motor material groups (magnetic steel, copper wire, etc.), integrating into the category's strategic framework. ● Sourcing & Cost Leadership: Influence early-stage sourcing decisions during motor product development, ensuring timely implementation of material specifications (e.g., magnetic steel grades, copper wire gauges) into ERP systems. Monitor monthly performance metrics, drive cost-reduction initiatives (e.g., material substitution for magnetic steel, optimized wire winding processes), and collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement programs for motor component efficiency. ● Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with CM(Category Management), BUP(Business Unit Purchasing), and PP(Production Planning) teams to optimize material supply chains, providing data-driven insights for make-or-buy analyses (e.g., in-house magnet manufacturing vs. outsourcing). Implement Schaeffler Group purchasing initiatives regionally, leveraging synergies in motor component sourcing (e.g., bulk purchasing of copper wire). ● Operational Excellence: Oversee budget compliance for motor component procurement, coordinate internal/external audits (e.g., material traceability for magnetic steel), and introduce digital tools (e.g., demand forecasting for copper wire) to drive procurement productivity. Consolidate business performance reports on motor component cost trends and supplier performance.
