Job Description: Auditing the organizational factory base, providing improvement plans, monitoring improvements and providing mentorship on best practices 1. Conduct onsite quality management system audits at factories to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and client standards. 2. Evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS, identify non-conformities, and follow up with suppliers on their proposed corrective actions (CAP). 3. Evaluate the efficiency, scalability, and bottlenecks of suppliers’ manufacturing processes. 4. Evaluate the quality control systems of suppliers, from IQC and IPQC to FQC and in-house testing. 5. Evaluate the factories' capability and capacity by identifying risks to on-time delivery, product quality, and compliance. 6. Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the effective implementation of all necessary regulatory activities in relevant areas. 7. Assist in updating, preparing, and reviewing training materials, policies, and procedures. 8. Execute other tasks assigned by management.
Job Requirements: 1. Diploma or degree in a related field (preferably engineering or science) 2. Minimum of eight years of relevant experience 3. Project experience with toys, E&E, furniture, and food contact products is preferred. 4. Knowledge of various hard goods production processes and materials (electronic, electrical, fabric, plastic, metal, ceramic, glass, wood, etc.) is a plus. 5. ISO 9001 QMS knowledge is required. 6. Ability to assess the risk of materials, products, and processes (electronic, electrical, fabric, plastic, metal, ceramic, glass, wood, etc.). 7. Ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills, self-motivation, responsiveness, and attention to detail. 8. Ability to build strong relationships within the team and communicate effectively with internal and external parties. 9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask. 10. Excellent proficiency in written English 11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. 12. Extensive travel required. 13. Immediate availability is preferred.
