JOB PURPOSE: This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure within the designated region. This position will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing IT solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
REPORTING TO: Regional Head of Operation
Responsibilities: 1. Network Infrastructure Management: · Implement, and maintain regional network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability · Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient resolution 2. Technical Support: · Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users in the region, respond to and resolve a wide range of IT - related issues, including but not limited to software installation, hardware troubleshooting, network connectivity problems, and email - related issues. · Collaborate with the USA IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical problems 3. Security and Compliance: · Implement and enforce IT security policies to safeguard regional systems and data · Stay informed about industry best practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations 4. Documentation: · Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for network configurations, system changes, and troubleshooting procedures · Develop and update user guides and documentation for IT-related processes 5. Collaboration and Communication: · Collaborate with other IT professionals, both regionally and centrally, to ensure consistency and alignment of IT services · Communicate effectively with end-users, management, and other stakeholders on IT-related matters. 6. Conduct regular IT asset management, including inventory control and disposal of IT equipment.
Qualifications: · Fluent English in both oral and written. · Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field · Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role with sufficient knowledge of IT activities, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, networking etc. · Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills · Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance standards · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
