In this role, he/she will support a major blue-chip technology client, ensuring excellence in execution, manufacturing quality, and project performance across the Southeast Asia region. We are looking for a high-caliber Programme Manager to oversee the delivery of multiple manufacturing projects for integrated mechanical and electrical (M&E) fluid cooling solutions tailored for hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This role will be based in Shanghai, China (with travel across Southeast Asia). Key Accountabilities [Programme Leadership & Coordination] 61 Lead a portfolio of concurrent M&E manufacturing projects, acting as the single point of accountability for programme delivery aligned to client timelines, technical specifications, and commercial objectives. [Client Engagement] 61 Serve as the primary interface with the client’s programme and engineering teams, managing expectations, reporting progress, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust. [Manufacturing Oversight] 61 Coordinate design handover, procurement, production planning, and factory execution for complex fluid cooling systems (e.g., chilled water systems, pump skids, heat exchangers, containment, pipework assemblies). [Regional Project Integration] 61 Ensure smooth delivery to site locations across Southeast Asia, including factory acceptance testing (FAT), export logistics, site delivery coordination, and interface with installation and commissioning teams. [Programme Governance] 61 Develop and maintain programme dashboards, risk registers, cost forecasts, resource plans, and quality compliance trackers. 61 Drive structured governance with internal and client-side stakeholders. [Commercial Management] 61 Monitor programme budgets, manage scope changes, support contract negotiations, and identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities. [Cross-functional Leadership] 61 Collaborate closely with engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, QA/QC, and on-site teams to maintain delivery assurance, alignment, and responsiveness. What We’re Looking For To thrive in this role, you should bring: Education and Experience 61 Degree-qualified in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical, Project Management or related technical discipline. 61 3+ years’ experience delivering M&E or fluid solutions projects, ideally in the data centre, HVAC, or process cooling sectors. 61 Demonstrable experience managing blue-chip customer accounts or hyperscale data centre clients. 61 Knowledge of offsite/modular manufacturing, fluid solutions, and industrial cooling systems. 61 International project delivery experience across Asia or similar regions. Technical Skills 61 Fluent in English (business-level); Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage. 61 Project management certification (PRINCE2) preferred. 61 Willing to travel regionally as required.
