The AFC Adopt& Adapt Project Manager plays a critical role to unlock Category/Portfolio opportunities across ABUs to build information highway for fast leveraging winning product proposition, concept, and product/engineering solutions across AFC. This role will be responsible for partnering with D&C and FEI innovation leaders to support the consolidation of a holistic picture for IPC AFC innovation. The team is also responsible for innovation sufficiency tools in ION. This team performance will wire innovations beyond IPC including KCNA, EM, Global and QRC, where they will provide general info and become IPC point of contact for leveraging innovation.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities -- Innovation strategy : Work with IPC R&D Director, IPC R&D ABU team to co-create the 0-3 year product innovation development plan; work with QRC team to understand local regulatory and compliance guideline. Build excellence practice for safety clearance, patent dashboard and leverage the best innovation/ION/DTV progress across IPC. - -- Innovation leverage: This role will need to influence internally across all levels of the organization and drive collaboration across functions/departments. This role needs strong business acumen and consolidation skills to be knowledgeable and actively informed on innovation projects in each ABU group. It will also need to manage relationships with KC Global partners (Brand Leaders, R&E technology enabling team, I&A, Supply Chain, Legal, Customer Teams, Product Safety, Quality, and Finance) and external collaborations/partnerships.
Leadership Competencies / Qualifications -+8 years of experience in R&D. +5 years experience with supply chain or MKT with profound practice in project management can also be considered. Professional background in product development Processes and innovation Adopt & Apply from other regions/sectors/Categories -Ability to resolve complex problems and translate market observations to business opportunities. -Experience in building innovation pathways cost effectively with end user target and growth in mind. -Financial and commercial understanding of market dynamics, P&L and how to build and evaluate business cases. -Experience in transition consumer researches (C&U, CUT, HUT…) into innovation solutions and product optimization. -Strong capability to make decision and to drive for clear decisions and actions. Analytical and fact-based decision-making skills with strong intuition, be able to “connect the dots” and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. -Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work and influence across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility and strong business leadership.
