Effective January 1, 2025, MAHLE has combined its former business units “Engine Systems and Components”, and “Electronics and Mechatronics” in the new business unit “Powertrain and Charging”. This way, MAHLE will strengthen its strategy field of electrification by allowing the focus areas of efficient electric motors and intelligent charging to benefit from the group’s over 100 years of experience with engine systems and components.

Your Contribution
As a Senior Development engineer HEX, you will adopt a proactive approach in filling the HEX product knowhow for TMM development.
- Responsible for the innovative concept development, prototyping, testing and verification, and problem-solving of Stack plate HEXs.
- Responsible for undertaking and achieving the functional and performance goals of the stack plate HEXs for new energy vehicles.
- Responsible for compiling and maintaining technical documents for developing components.
- Collaborate with cross departmental teams, including thermal management module engineers, system integration engineers, and EE engineers, to find suitable cost optimization and smart integration solutions to meet the TMM target requirements.
- Define development direction, schedule, and conduct product development based on market demand.
- Establish internal design standards and guidelines.

Your Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, refrigeration, or related fields
- More than 5 years of experience in automotive parts design and development, and more than 3 years development experience of stack plate HEXs concepts.
- Proficient in the system demand of the stack plate HEXs, familiar with product design requirements, and familiar with market information.
- Proficient in the design essentials of stack plate HEXs, familiar with the design tools of Thermal dynamic design and optimization.
- Familiar with the process of component development, validation, and approval.
- Proficient in using 3D/2D design software.
- Strong learning ability, strong sense of responsibility, good communication and coordination skills, good team spirit and stress resistance, innovative thinking.
- Good English and computer skills.
