Key Responsibilities: o In accordance with global supplier strategy develop supplier capability and drive Customer-focused Quality and Sustainability as a primary goal into the supply chain. o Assist the Supplier Quality Manager in the continuous improvement of our audit programmes in establishing new auditing Best Practice. o Assist Supplier Quality Manager in the development of SQE competencies throughout Business Unit. o Plan and Execute supplier validation audits in the business unit according to Best Practice. o Follow up with the supplier directly for closure of correction action plans to address process NC’s. o Ensure that supplier quality audits are approved in accordance with Best Practice. o Prepare and present monthly/quarterly business unit audit plan reports. o Support cross functional activities in supplier development. Supporting process improvement activities with under-performing suppliers. o Facilitate the escalation of serious or unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and current business activities. o Support local quality management to provide insights on supplier capability & performance. o Assist in the qualification and on-boarding of new suppliers. o Liaise and communicate with other departments, customers, suppliers, and other interested parties. o Proactively contributes to the team. o Ability to work on own initiative. o Comply with the organizational Policies. o Act with integrity in all business activities.
Skills & Competencies: o Computer literate - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and modern IT structures and ERP software tools and processes. o Strong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). o Good Knowledge of TS16949, ISO45001, ISO14001 & Sustainability. o Strong knowledge of engineering parts & production processes. o Planning and prioritising activities. o Senior supplier quality engineers also need excellent written and verbal communication skills to serve as liaisons between companies and suppliers and prepare quality assurance reports. o Experienced in complaint handling & 8D reporting. o Proven communication and interpersonal skills. o Analytical. Critical risk thinking and problem-solving skills. o Ability to present data effectively. o Proven leadership skills. o Excellent English Language & Literacy Skills & local language. o Self-Motivator who can plan and work autonomously.
Qualifications and Experience: o Bachelor of Mechanical engineering or Equivalent. o Qualified Lead Auditor via accredited certification body. o Minimum 5 Years working experience in o Supplier Quality Auditing, o Supplier Development o Quality Assurance. o Fluent in English, oral and written. o Willingness to travel.
