Position Summary: This position will provide leadership and management for both the Production team and the Process Engineering (PE) team. 61 Oversee and manage manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources for the Production team to ensure that safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery targets are consistently met. 61 Lead the PE team to maintain consistency across all production processes. Drive the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods to optimize quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction: 61 Lead full production department and process engineering team 61 Interface with Quality, SCM, Sales, HR, EHS, R&D etc. 61 Interface with inside and outside customers 61 Interface with outside contractors or vendors when needed and obtain the optimum in tools, parts, and services.
Job Responsibility: 61 Production Management: 61 Manage manpower, machinery, materials, and other resources within the production team to ensure that quality, productivity, inventory levels, and on-time delivery targets are consistently met. 61 Ensure all staff are properly trained to company standards and are competent to perform their duties meeting both quality and time requirements. 61 Monitor actual production data against planned targets, promptly identifying and resolving any variances. 61 Coordinate and oversee Parker’s Lean initiatives aimed at improving product quality, customer delivery performance, reducing overdue orders, enhancing staff productivity, and ensuring workplace safety and environment. 61 Develop and implement continuous improvement programs such as Value Stream Mapping, Waste Walking, 5S, and Safety Audits to identify and eliminate or minimize waste and hazards. 61 Coordinate production process development activities to optimize manufacturing workflows. 61 Drive continuous improvement in quality and productivity through effective people management and the deployment or development of new processing technologies and automation 61 Develop and enhance a talent pipeline by identifying and nurturing potential leaders. 61 Implement multi-skilling programs to train employees across various functions, increasing workforce flexibility and capability. 61 Demonstrate strong leadership by motivating, guiding, and developing the production team to achieve operational excellence.
61 Process Engineering Management: 61 Lead the Process Engineering (PE) team in developing, evaluating, and improving manufacturing process methods to ensure cost-effectiveness and continuous productivity improvement. 61 Plan, schedule, assign, and supervise work related to the assigned production processes, ensuring smooth operations. 61 Conduct process cost analysis and price estimation. 61 Manage sample and prototype processes, providing support to both internal and external customers for product applications. 61 Play a key role in new equipment introduction and product line localization efforts. 61 Oversee daily work of both the Production and Process Engineering teams, providing coaching and guidance to support team members’ personal and professional development. 61 Ensure coordination between Production and PE teams to optimize manufacturing efficiency and quality. 61 Other tasks assigned by superior.
Qualifications: 61 Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred. 61 Minimum of 10 years’ experience in production management experience &manufacturing process management with strong leadership capabilities. 61 Proficient in both written and spoken English. 61 Ability to multitask and effectively handle various challenges in a dynamic work environment. 61 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; creative, self-motivated, and structured in thinking.
