Overall, this role is instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations, ultimately contributing to the organization’s profitability and customer satisfaction. DDN Supply Chain Network Design is dedicated to plan and qualify the most appropriate supply chain network to successfully launch any project. From NPI & Sustaining to Migrations & Footprint; end goal is to secure a healthy, flexible, lean and localized supply chain network.
Key Responsibilities : 61Working closely with various departments, including procurement operations, footprint, logistics, and finance, to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives. 61Staying informed about trends and changes in supply chain management including regulations, market dynamics, and sustainability practices, to provide insights for strategic planning. 61Leveraging advanced software tools and technologies for modeling and analysis such as Llamasoft, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge on trends in supply chain technologies. 61Preparing detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management to support strategic decision-making. 61Understand project objective & customer requirements. Collect and organize all relevant data needed to design the most efficient supply chain maximizing Customer & TE targets. 61Analyze current supply chain network design & performance (map Volumes, LT, Inventory & Cost). Both for downstream and also upstream. 61Analyze possible options considering risks and opportunities. Check compliance with GTS. 61Propose possible options for the future supply chain network design & evaluate the SC metrics for each of them (map Volumes, LT, Inventory & Cost). Both for downstream and also upstream. 61Recommend the best option and the recommended improvement actions to achieve Customer & TE targets (consignment, central stock, customer Incoterms, new transportation lane set up, drop-shipment, supplier localization…) 61In case of Migration, propose the Transitory supply chain network design and evaluate the SC metrics.
