Responsibilities/Deliverables Indicate seven to ten accountabilities and their impact in order of importance. This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list, but rather a general overview of the principal responsibilities (70-80% reflective). - Locally lead the innovation development and implementation with APAC External Contract Manufacturing (ECM) for entire NA AFC by cooperating with NA R&E team to develop and execute NA AFC initiatives at APAC ECMs, translating all product, material and equipment, tests, and quality related requirement to ECMs, making sure all met our needs. - Locally lead material development with APAC ECM partners as well as local material suppliers for the initiatives. - Be the link to translate ECM capability, investment and most cost-effective execution. - Individual should also drive consumer led implementation (introduce consumer panel wear culture) alongside Contract manufacturing team for Quality sign-off. - The individual will own recommendations of APAC ECM product capability, as well as monitor local market innovation trends to provide in time innovation solutions to NA AFC

Required (essential for the job): - 5+ years of experience in total across procurement, ECM’s supply and R&D innovation including material development and/or product innovation. - Bachelor’s degree in related experience above - Demonstrated track record in defining winning strategic product portfolio. Has strong analytical skills; ability to resolve complex problems and translate market observations to business opportunities - Successfully demonstrated the procurement and material expertise to locate new and novel materials to deliver consumer proposition. - Track record of building innovation pathways cost effectively with end user target for focused growth. - Strong analytical and fact-based decision-making skills with strong intuition, be able to “connect the dots” and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity. - Highly developed collaboration skills with an ability to work and influence across a matrix organization, influencing peers, other functions with credibility and strong business leadership - Fluent in Mandarin and strong English
