Job Title: Technical Engineer, chemical & materials science

Summary:
Science and Innovation (S&I) is currently seeking a Technical Engineer for Shanghai Innovation Center. Growth and Innovation are the key focus of this position, and the primary role is to develop and manage growth portfolio of DuPont Shanghai Innovation Center through strong collaborations with business teams, customers, industrial and academy partners. She/he must have a comprehensive understanding of DuPont products, up to date technologies and offerings, as well as strategic innovation platforms and market/industrial trends. She/he will also play a key role in supporting large corporate events with close collaboration with Corporate Communication, Government Affairs, Market Communication teams from Businesses, Technical Teams at CTC and FS&RE teams etc.
Responsibilities:
61 Lead customer engagement at Innovation Center; develop insights on industrial/technical/innovation trends of strategic industries. 61 Leverage and integrate technical, market and industrial understanding across business units. Identify growth initiatives through close collaboration with business teams; support BU to incubate and deliver growth targets. 61 Strengthen the Innovation Excellence competency of Shanghai IC as a platform for innovation/technology sharing, ideation and incubation. 61 Explore new business models with start-ups and venture capitals to deliver growth as a part of Open Innovation Platform initiative to complement existing business models. 61 Serve as a core team member, support large initiatives and events of Corporate or CTC together with cross function teams.
Requirements: 61 Bachelor’s degree or above on material, engineering, chemistry or related area; 61 More than 3 years’ working experience in technical function. 61 Rich experience in project management or innovation management. 61 Self-managed professional with strong organizational skills; Ability to lead multiple projects at a time while meeting deadlines. 61 Ability to network and be a strong team player. Work well in a team setting, embrace others’ differences. 61 Has strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage a diverse community. 61 Maintain effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment, approach changes positively. 61 Proactive and solution oriented.
