Position Overview:
We are seeking a Trade Compliance Consultant to support our team in completing projects related to export compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of trade agreements and policies relevant to exports from Southeast Asia to Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice on compliance with Southeast Asia's export trade agreements and related policies for Europe.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all export procedures are compliant with applicable regulations.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with trade compliance in the apparel industry.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
- Stay updated on changes in trade regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a trade compliance consultant, preferably within the apparel industry.
- Familiarity with Southeast Asia export agreements and trade policies for Europe.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
